A turnkey project for Matane’s business community overseen by Habitat Construction

This project was born out of a need voiced by Matane’s business community. Businesses located in the town centre wanted storefronts on one of the town’s major thoroughfares, but there was a lack of available commercial units to rent. In 2012, Groupe Bertrand-Rioux launched the project in collaboration with two other investors, including one of the future tenants, Flordeco. Habitat was entirely responsible for this design-build project, from the architectural design, to engineering, to the applications made to the Quebec Ministry of the Environment for authorization to build on the site located in proximity to wetlands. This project is a great example of the kind of work we can do for an investor or group of investors looking for a turnkey solution.
