Carpenter-joiner
CARPENTER-JOINER
Reporting to the Foreman and working closely with the teams on site, the candidate will be involved in large-scale construction projects, carrying out renovation, finishing and demolition tasks.
More specifically, the Carpenter-Joiner will :
- Study plans and calculate material requirements, prepare layouts, take measurements, cut, shape and assemble materials;
- Assemble wall, floor, roof and wall structures;
- Install exterior siding;
- Install exterior doors and windows, mouldings and hardware;
- Apply procedures for tracing, cutting and assembling wood parts;
- Work with multiple tools such as: hammer, drill, circular saw, pneumatic nailer, etc.

- Be an ambassador for the RIOUX brand and all its divisions;
- All other related tasks.
Your experience and skills include :
- DEP in Carpentry/Joinery or relevant renovation/finishing experience;
- Valid driver's license;
- Carpenter's card;
- On-site training available;
- Knowledge of the steps involved in building a house;
- Training and/or equivalent experience in carpentry/woodworking;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Experience working with pneumatic tools;
- Candidates must be physically fit;
- Good manual dexterity;
- Be able to maintain a good work rhythm on a production line;
- Execute various stages of residential construction;
- Previous experience is required, but we are open to people with transferable skills such as: carpenter, joiner, construction, renovation.

Employment conditions :
Full-time work (40 hours per week), over 4 days.
Salary according to experience and skills.
